Danche is a washing station Neguesse Debela opened in 2019, just kilometres from the celebrated Chelbessa site. For 2026, SEY worked with the SNAP quality control team and Tim Hill to develop a new selection protocol — drawing from the top Grade 1 lots and subjecting them to intensive cupping to isolate the finest of the harvest. The results are remarkable. In the cup: Earl Grey tea, watermelon, peach, and a lively citrus acidity that is the hallmark of great Worka Chelbessa coffees.
